Pirates Online

Leaderboards

The highest rated pirates and teams of the Caribbean.

Ranked matches move a rating; casual lobbies never do. Four ladders: Pirate vs Pirate and Ship vs Ship, each for solo pirates and for named teams. A pirate or team is rated after ten matches. Queue from the Lookout in your sea chest.

Infamy badges

Infamy follows your rating, not your kills. Reach a badge's rating and unlock it on the Lookout's Infamy page; land badges follow your PvP rating, sea badges your SvS rating (the better of your solo rating and your team's).

How the rating works

Everyone starts at 1000. After a match, the winner takes points from the loser: more when the loser was rated higher, fewer when the win was expected (standard Elo, K = 40 for your first ten games, then 32). A free-for-all is scored against every other pirate in it by finishing place; a team match moves the two team ratings. Leaving a ranked match counts as a loss.
